Patristic Studies in Internet   Ðóññêàÿ âåðñèÿ ñàéòà

This paper is a short review of Internet sources, which could be useful for Patristic Studies, i.e. web-sites somehow related to the history and theory of Early Christianity. As long as the research in the field of History of Religions is to be concerned with using many different sources (manuscripts, books, articles etc.), religious studies scholars in the Post-Soviet area are faced with serious difficulties, since the most of foreign researches are practically inaccessible. This problem is could be solved by means of Internet and Computer technologies, which give an opportunity to scholars to work with many kinds of texts both in foreign and in ancient languages. Nowadays we may say that Patristic Studies is not just improved using the Internet, but it take place in Internet. In methodological respect this paper is set according to the ideal plan of research work with sources, i.e. bibliography – search for materials and research – publication of primary results

Study of regional religious situation according to Internet data   Ðóññêàÿ âåðñèÿ ñàéòà

In this paper author presents the results of two researches on religious situation based on Internet data. The first one – is an analysis of the proportion of the churches, where service is possible and impossible in Vladimir Region, Central Russia. In second case Internet provides data to recognize public opinion about Russian Orthodox Autonomic Church. Both researches date from 2004-2005.
